Had a great stay at the canebrake thursday and today. Yoga was great, the views were sublime, the FOOD was amazing and my massage was perfection. Couldn’t have gotten better. Can’t wait to come back soon for a romantic weekend with my boyfriend!
The woman who gave me my massage – Susan i think? – was especially amazing. Her attention to detail and her thoroughness were unlike any other massage I’ve had. I wanted to fill out a comment card praising her. I feel fantastic; yoga this morning followed by my 90 minute massage was the perfect way to start this weekend!
The massage and facial were the best I have ever experienced without exception, and I have already booked both for next month. Lunch was wonderful, the wine was great and it was such a nice treat to finish my spa treatments to find a “Happy Birthday” surprise waiting for me.
I cannot speak highly enough of The Canebrake and the services offered.
I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the hospitality we were shown by everyone we encountered today at The Canebrake. The facility and services are fabulous. The only problem we encountered was the food. The dishes we were served were extraordinary. So much so that it we had to totally rethink our lunch plans, since neither of the dishes we tasted were on our original choice list. We came in with three favorites and left with six! It’s a problem we will learn to live with, however. Please give the chef our compliments, since I was negligent in not doing so in person before we left.
I came with high expectations, but even my wildest expectations were surpassed. There is no doubt that we have made the right choice in The Canebrake for our retreat(s). I expect this will be the beginning of a long relationship between (our company) and The Canebrake.
Sam and Lisa, I am sure you remember us since we took over your fabulous facility for a weekend. We talk about this on a regular basis and it is STILL by far our best group trip ever. We want to come back this year and hope that the economy will allow it. My entire group had such a terrific time and we have told so many people about your hospitality and incredible oasis in the middle of no-where. My husband and I talk about how much fun we had sitting at the bar in the restaurant and watching the magic unfold in front of our eyes, and getting a little bite once in a while was fun too. I was telling some more folks at lunch today about your facility and they may be calling soon for reservations as well. Hope that all is well with you all and your beautiful home away from home. Look forward to seeing you in the future.
I want to let you know what a great time my wife and I had last weekend staying at The Canebrake. Being in the business, we understand what it takes to make a successful operation memorable, and we think you and your staff do it to an extent not often seen. The setting is wonderful, our king suite was outstanding, and the meals were perfect! We hope you know that The Canebrake staff takes a back seat to no-one for their attention to detail and service…from Kirt at our arrival and departure, to Sarah and Danny (long live chicken-fried bacon!!) in the kitchen, and Tracy and Codie in the dining room, we experienced service that is rare in the foodservice and lodging business.
We think you’ve got a really cool thing going, and we are already looking forward to being at The Canebrake again.

Thought I would let you know that my husband got home an hour or so ago and has not stopped talking about the Canebrake! It would take too
long to pass on all his comments about the food, the service, the staff, etc. Just know that he was in heaven. I’m so sorry I had to miss out. We are hoping to plan a weekend with you in the fall. Let me know the best time for a pretty eastern Oklahoma fall trip.Thank you taking such good care of my husband!!
My husband Mark & I just wanted to tell the Canebrake staff how much we enjoyed our stay with you this weekend. This was our first time at your resort, but we hope to return soon. The food, in particular, was such a tremendous pleasure! The yoga class and couples massage were both very relaxing, and new experiences for both of us. We were so impressed with every staff member we encountered! They all seemed both enthusiastic and very well-trained for their jobs. So nice to have a place for getaways so close to Tulsa.
