DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The Canebrake is four miles east of Wagoner off State Highway 51. It’s the first major intersection after you leave Wagoner, and two miles west of the bridge if you’re coming from Tahlequah.
From Tulsa to Wagoner: Go east on the Broken Arrow Expressway (State Highway 51),
then continue east on the Muskogee Turnpike to the Wagoner/Coweta exit (Exit 13; SH51) and turn left (east).
From Muskogee to Wagoner: go north on US69, turn right (east) on SH51.
From Pryor to Wagoner: go south on US69, turn left (east) on SH51.
From Wagoner to The Canebrake:
Follow Highway 51 all the way through Wagoner. There is a stoplight at the intersection of SH51 and US69, two downtown
and a fourth at the intersection of McQuarrie and Cherokee Streets where SH51 turns south.
Turn right at the fourth stoplight (landmark: Chilango’s Mexican Restaurant) and follow SH51 five miles (it’s 4 miles from the edge of town)
Turn left (north) on 330th road (across from Cobb Equipment, Morgan’s
Corner gas station), and follow the signs to The Canebrake.
You will continue north on 330th road through two stop signs, Turn right at the third stop sign on E. 732nd road (just past the big dip and right hand curve).
Proceed through the gate of the Canebrake.
From Tahlequah: go west on SH51 to E. 330th road, two miles past the bridge over Ft. Gibson Lake. Turn right (north) and follow the signs to The Canebrake.
